CPS - TU-Delft Centre for Serious Gaming

‘The Gaming Street’ is TPMs fast growing serious game production and support lab.

In no time it has developed into a highly skilled team of serious game developers with enthusiastic students and working freelancers of many disciplines and skills: computer programmers, 3D modelers, game and graphic designers, simulation experts, etc.

The team is headed by ir. Daan Groen, who has a Master in Architecture at TUD and ing. Melvin Mukrab, who graduated in Virtual Theatre & Game Design at the Utrecht School of Arts (HKU).

‘The Gaming Street’ supports TPMs academic staff, esp. PhDs, with the laborious technical production of serious games and software applications.

It also provides indispensible services and technical support for running serious gaming-simulation sessions with clients and in education.

‘The Gaming Street’ is highly equipped with state of the art game technology, hardware and software and is located in the new MSG seminar facility in the faculty of TPM.

MSG seminar rooms

In May 2009, TPM has opened its completely renovated Modeling, Simulation & Gaming (MSG) seminar rooms. It replaces the former Group Decision Rooms (GDR).

The new facilities are fully equipped with state-of-the-art, Media, Communication, Computer and Network technology.
